Hawaii becomes the 16th state to legalize same sex marriage

Hawaii becomes the 16th state to legalize same sex marriage. This make four states who have just within a couple months and weeks of each other, legalized same sex marriage. This makes me wonder if we are seeing a rapid shift here or if these few progressive states are where it will end for now. However, this shows that times are changing and this movement is swiftly progressing for the better. Lesbian and gay individuals are starting to gain their rights that they shouldn't have lost in the first place. History repeats itself and this is just the next civil liberties issue in which rights were taken away that are slowly being given back. After this issue is over, I presume there will be another group of minorities who will be discriminated against. I'd hope not, but seeing the way history has gone, it's very likely.
