Obamacare technology chiefs grilled by Congress as political support dwindles
President Barak Obama's healthcare reform called Obamacare is losing political support. Last Wednesday, Obamacare technology chiefs were the talk of Congress. The complaints from Congress members stated that they were angry with many technology problems and the policy itself. The technology chiefs replied by stating that the website is not ready yet and they want it to reach its full capacity before releasing it. This project of Obamacare was proposed and grown by the Democrats , so the fact that it is not doing as well as it should is troubling them. They know this could cost them votes and seats in Congress. Will Obamacare be the cost for eliminating some Democrats in Congress?
The Democrats and specifically the Obama administration rushed to launch the Obamacare website and they are rightfully paying the consequences of this. As Henry Chao just said during the hearing the Obamacare website is far from being completed with the minimum percentage that still has to be built being 30 percent. In my opinion it was rushed because they wanted to launch before the public realized that they were lied to about losing their current insurance plans that many wanted to keep. And the result of the public being lied to would have been a significant drop in public support and might of just been a crippling blow to Obamacare before launch.
