Three more states could legalize gay marriage by year’s end
In the United States we know that in a lot of state that gay marriage is ban and not aloud. My problem is with that. Don't they have a say in their life, & what they want to do. We have individual rights and freedom we can do what we please if the government gave us these rights why is it a big problem with a gay-marriage. They pay taxes like every body else they vote. They are regular people and are just like everybody else in the world. Some gay marriages can provide a happy family for children then normal couples these days. I don't see what's the hold up they should make every state legal for gay marriages. That we have are own freedom, we can don't what want but cant break the law. Equal protection under the law for everyone, including the societal, familial, and economic protections of marriage for all committed couples, no matter their sexual orientation. Do you agree that gay marriage should be ban or they should. Or be legalize for not just 3 states but all the state. The 3 states that are taking the step to legalize gay marriage is Illinois, New Mexico, Hawaii,. The reason gay marriage is going to be legal is because the bill pass the senate earlier this year. The main reason its a hold on the gay marriage bill because the democratic thought they didn't have enough votes. Mr. Harris is another reason why the bill wasn't pass he has to get the bill through the house as legislators. There was a problem because they didn't know if he file the bill. Since he didn't make that happen they had to call him and he wouldn't pick up the phone. New Mexico is the few states that never passed a same-sex marriage ban, a the only state where laws regulating marriages Passing a marriage bill in Hawaii will have special significance to gay-rights groups. the three states will be a cap remarkable year for gay right activists that began on election day 2013. The main thing is that they are people and the have rights to and its their life they should be able to get married to whoever they choose to get married to. If that's the case humans shouldn't have some type of rights that they have today and. We are all people just trying to making a living and just because your gay doesn't mean you should be look at differently or a certain way.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/govbeat/wp/2013/10/22/three-more-states-could-legalize-gay-marriage-by-years-end/ So what do you think about the gay marriage and how you do you feel about it. Do you disagree or agree about this situation.
I completely agree. Same-sex marriage is just the next denial of Civil Rights. After same-sex marriage becomes completely legalized in the United States, another group of minorities will become marginalized and have to fight for equal rights; it is an unfortunate continuous cycle. Same-sex marriage is banned because of "religion" which truly is crap. It is just an excuse for bigoted people and politicians. If marriage were strictly religious, then technically atheists shouldn't be allowed to marry. Tying in with atheism, not everyone believes in religion, and it is immoral to force your beliefs on someone else. There is a reason we have a separation of church and state. It is fine to leave it up to a church by church basis on whether or not they want to perform same-sex weddings; there are churches that without a doubt will hold same-sex weddings. However, it is not okay for the government at any level to deny anyone the right to marriage.
ReplyDeleteI agree that the government should pass gay marriage for the happiness of the overall population. I personally don't agree with gay marriage but my personal feelings should not affect the freedom/rights of others to pursue happiness.
