Who is To Blame?

In an article published by Fox News, both parties are blaming each other for the shutdown. It was interesting  to read because Fox News is seen as a conservative news affiliate, however they attacked the party they are seen as being a ally of. They attacked the House Republicans and the Senate Republicans that are both willing to compromise to end the government shut down, but also to avoid the financial collapse. I think the biggest problem that the Republican party was shown to have from this party is that they are making up a plan to satisfy the minority members within the party, Tea Party members, that will never be passed by the Senate, basically showing that they are not willing to compromise in the slightest. Connected with this is the outrage they have at Republican Senators saying that the attempt to defund Obamacare using the fiscal agenda was a bad move, saying that they need to stay as one. I would have to agree they need to compromise as one party so that this can be avoided in the future, however singling out these few members, like Senator John McCain (R-AZ), is outrage over something that is getting closer and closer to being the undeniably truth. It was a bad move to shut down the government over Obamacare in the first place, yet they  still had time to work out a deal. Now we are now in the hour countdown of when the debt ceiling is reached, and still there is no compromise on the table. If the Republicans were smart, they would instead single out the Tea Party members and blame them for the shutdown and almost fiscal crisis, and then compromise with the Democrats. This could possibly save them seats that they are losing right now in future votes.
